About John Christopher Studio

John Christopher Studio was the portrait practice of photographer JC Buck, dedicated to the creation of timeless black-and-white portraits.

Working from his studio in Denver, JC approached portraiture as a quiet study of character and presence. Drawing from the traditions of classic studio photography, each portrait was shaped through sculpted light, minimal composition, and authentic expression.

The work included portraits of individuals and families, artists and musicians, performers and members of the Colorado Symphony — each approached with the same intention: to create photographs with emotional weight and a sense of permanence.

John Christopher Studio is now closed as JC turns his attention to the next chapter of his artistic practice.
